The Johnstown Area Regional Industries (JARI)

JARI is a nonprofit economic development organization based in the greater Johnstown, PA region working with communities in Cambria and Somerset Counties. JARI provides entrepreneurial support, workforce development, property location and development support, financing and incentives, and other assistance to small and medium manufacturers and businesses in this struggling yet resilient and promising region. JARI has partnered on multiple initiatives to diversify and grow the regional economy. JARI is excited to be part of the emerging opportunities in the shale sector and downstream manufacturing.

JARI serves as a partner in the Shale POWER initiative for Cambria and Somerset counties in Pennsylvania. They communicate and promote activities including training, workshops and events planned for Shale POWER. JARI will also provide direct technical assistance, make connections to experts and a suite of tools to small and medium enterprises who seek Shale POWER assistance in the shale-manufacturing sector.
