Join the Shale POWER team for a discussion on the shale industry outlook for 2022. Learn more about what’s ahead for development across the Appalachian Basin in the year to come.

The Shale POWER team will discuss ways we can assist you to identify and position your company to capitalize on these opportunities. The energy industry is constantly evolving and looking for ways to increase efficiency, reduce emissions and continue to develop the natural resources in a safe and responsible manner.

The discussion will be led by the Shale POWER team. Industry experts Matt Henderson and Katie Klaber bring nearly 30 years of combined shale energy experience with them working in all facets of the industry. They will focus on areas of priority for the industry and be available to answer your specific questions related to your product or service. Project Manager Tom Reed will provide an update on current program & grant offerings and resources to help increase awareness for your company.

Matt Henderson brings with him nearly two decades of business development experience, including over 15 years of engagement within the energy sector, with a strong focus on the unconventional shale industry throughout the tri-state Appalachian basin. During this time, Matt has worked closely with exploration and production, midstream, transmission and supply chain contractors, along with federal, state and local government officials, economic development agencies, universities and even foreign governments to maximize and seize their opportunities within the unconventional shale sector. Matt develops marketing and business strategies for businesses and entrepreneurs looking to capitalize on shale development in the United States and international markets. He works with small to medium-sized business as well as Fortune 500 companies looking to understand their value proposition and entry point to all sectors of the industry.

Tom Reed
Project Manager @Shale POWER

Tom Reed serves as the Project Manager for the Shale POWER initiative for Catalyst Connection. He implements many aspects of this initiative including outreach to the community including communications, events, content and partner coordination. Tom has worked for more than 14 years with manufacturing companies at Catalyst Connection in many roles including project management, marketing, contract management and communication. He oversees communications and outreach of the Catalyst Connection organization to the community and grantors. Tom promotes services, trainings and events provided to manufacturers as well as community outreach programs that engage young people in manufacturing career opportunities. Tom manages the web site content, various newsletters, the Shale POWER website, email and social media, liaisons with media outlets and supports other communications.
