The recent Hydrogen Hub announcements by Department of Energy (DOE) have created a lot of excitement and uncertainty across Appalachia. The DOE awarded up to $750 million to the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub (MACH2), and up to $925 million to the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2). Both of these projects are poised to benefit the workforce and business communities across multiple states. Now that the awards have been announced, what are the next steps?
