SHALE INSIGHT® 2021

SHALE INSIGHT® 2021 on September 28 – 30 was the leading conference on American shale energy, manufacturing and jobs! This conference shared an insider’s view from the nation’s foremost energy leaders and experts on shale development, environmental protection, pipeline investment, energy driven manufacturing and jobs in demand.
At the conference, a dynamic exhibit hall comprised of industry and supply chain companies showcased innovative products and services which drive business in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays. Attendees learned from thought leaders and working professionals during national keynote addresses and panel presentations, and attended technical and public affairs breakout sessions to earn Professional Development and Continuing Legal Education credits for Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia to advance their careers.
PANEL: Strategic Local Sourcing Benefitting Shale and Manufacturing Companies Alike
As the energy industry continues to look to engage local companies, this session provided insights on regional manufacturing assets, highlighted capabilities and innovations from local companies who are successfully navigating the energy supply chain. Shale POWER is a program that is helping manufacturers to engage in the shale energy supply chain across the Appalachian Basin. The program helps to educate and prepare manufacturers to be successful in the energy supply chain.

Training and Webinars – Shale POWER provides training and webinars that include: energy sector overviews and current trends in the industry, guidance from experts and other manufacturers on how to engage with the energy supply chain, and business strategy to help a company be more competitive and successful in expanding sales. Our Fuel for Thought series provides webinars that are no longer than 30 minutes and videos are available of past episodes here.

Tours and Conferences – Sector field tours and trips (both in person and virtual) are offered to go beyond the classroom and bring manufacturers into direct contact with the gas production, midstream processing, and downstream manufacturing hubs of activity in the region. Shale POWER participates in regional conferences and we often invite companies that engage in our initiative to join us on discussion panels or networking.

One-on-One Consultation – Energy consultants are available to talk with manufacturers and help refine their business plan and identify unique opportunities for their business.

Technical Assistance – Shale POWER provides in depth technical assistance to help a manufacturing company make company improvements or grow business. Reimbursement grants are available for eligible companies to cover up to 50% of project costs.
